PORT ARANSAS, Texas - The Corpus Christi Caller Times reports today that the number of Whooping Cranes spending Winter in Aransas National Wildlife Reguge is up slightly from last year. The annual migration from Canada attracts birding enthusiasts from around the world. The Annual Celebration of Whooping Cranes will be February 26th - March 1st.
