Port Aransas Summer Tourism Is Setting Records

PORT ARANSAS, Texas - While many vacation destinations are struggling due to the challenging national economy, more and more people are coming to play in "Port A" this summer.  That was especially evident during the recent July 4th Holiday Weekend.

Just received the numbers for June and hotel occupancy tax was up 6.9% over last year.  That would appear to confirm the trend we're witnessing.
