The new online "TexaPlex" campaign has really taken off with over 20,000 views on YouTube and it has captured the attention of the Governor's office.  In case you missed the post last week, it is on the Port Aransas Real Estate Blog.

PORT ARANSAS, Texas - Spring means that the live music season has returned to Port Aransas.  John Goodspeed with the Houston Chronicle had a great article this week on the many venues in Port A.  

One of the reasons people from Austin, San Antonio, Houston and other large cities find Port A so appealing is the wide variety of live music on any given weekend.  Visitors often marvel at how a relatively small beach community can offer so many quality restaurants and music venues.

PORT ARANSAS, Texas - A dream which began in 2002 is being realized in Port Aransas.  A groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday as work begins on the new 1,200+ acre nature preserve.

The preserve will feature observation points for area birds and other wildlife.  Hike and bike trails will be  very popular with visitors and locals alike.  The nature preserve is located along the Ship Channel and extends south towards Piper Channel.
